I want to volunteer in my community and there are so many options, why should I choose you?
The Women of Today is a national organization with a very strong presence in Minnesota. The Minnesota Women of Today, as stated in our bylaws, supports the efforts of women over the age of 18 by improving their lives and the lives of people around them. We primarily support women's causes, as well as children, youth and families. By joining our chapter you will meet other women in your community who share similar interests.

What organizations do you support?
Because the needs of communities vary, each individual chapter decides which local causes or charities they choose to support. Click here to see the many organizations the State MN Women of Today supports.

Who may join?
Any woman 18 years or older may join our chapter, as long as they are not currently a member of another WOT Chapter.

Must I live with-in the city you serve?
You may join any chapter you choose, whether it be in the community you live or work, or in a near by city with other friends or family members. You do not need to live in the city the chapter you join is located.

What is the time commitment?
Unless you serve as a Board or Committee Member, the amount of time you put in is decided by you, whatever works best in your schedule. There will be monthly meetings, chapter member socials, community events, service projects and fundraiser - however nothing is ever mandatory or required. As with any volunteer organization, the more you put in, the more you get out! We encourage all members to play an active roll in the chapter!

How big is your chapter?
As of April 2021 we have 35 amazing members, which is an awesome start for our newer chapter! In the state of MN there are about 1,200 members in 60 communities.

Is there a fee to join?
There are annual dues payable upon joining and each year during your anniversary trimester. Annual dues for the Rogers, Otsego, Dayton Women of Today is $50.
